North Ridge Community Church is all about connecting people in community with Jesus and each other. Our purpose is to worship and glorify Jesus Christ through fellowship with God and each other; growing in faith, equipping each other to serve, and sharing the good news of Jesus with our community.

Our Story

North Ridge Community Church was planted in 2006 by members of the North Scott Community who desired to see their friends and neighbors experience Christ through His church. Out of a passion to connect people into community with Jesus and each other North Ridge Community Church was born.


From it's earliest days, North Ridge has made it their mission to multiply God's Kingdom by building a culturally relevant church in the North Scott area that reaches out to people who are disconnected from God and His church community, helping them to grow in their relationship with God and with others.


God blessed North Ridge as they changed their worship location multiple times. North Ridge began worshiping in the Jr. High School cafeteria, then moved to the Jr. High gymnasium. God moved us to the high school cafeteria, and then to Traditions Event Center. In 2012 we landed at our current location just off Highway 61 and right between Davenport and Eldridge, IA.  


North Ridge has experienced Gods grace as it has grown from a small, dedicated group of passionate people into a thriving church still bent on seeing our community establish a relationship with Jesus.

Mission


Our mission is to multiply God's Kingdom by building a culturally relevant church in the North Scott area that reaches out to people who are disconnected from God and His church community, helping them to grow in their relationship with God and with others.


Our Vision


Our vision is to accomplish God’s mission to multiply His kingdom by using the following methods to minister to the needs of the people in our community:


  • Biblically based relevant messages that help people understand and apply the Word of God.

  • A worship gathering that features meaningful music that allows people to experience God’s presence and power.

  • Strong youth and children’s ministry programs that are fun to attend and help kids experience and know the love of Jesus. 

  • Educational classes and seminars that help families put Christ first, learn the spiritual disciplines that help them grow and mature in their faith and relationship with Jesus Christ, and empower them to share their faith with others.

  • Serving each other by using their spiritual gifts and God-given design for ministry.

  • Serving the North Scott and Quad City communities through various mission and ministry projects and activities.

  • Connecting people into Life Groups where they can experience healthy community in order to grow in all aspects of their faith.

  • Join in building God’s kingdom in and beyond the North Scott area by planting new churches.

Our purpose is to worship and glorify Jesus Christ through fellowship with God and each other; growing in faith, equipping each other to serve, and sharing the good news of Jesus with our community.  


“Connecting in community with Jesus and each other” is the statement we use as our call by God to be an MVP church.


Passion


Our passion is to help people trust and follow Jesus in every area of their life. We believe spiritual growth happens when you Connect, Grow, and BLESS.

Enjoy the love of God and His work in our lives by consistently gathering in worship and fellowship. Connecting represents our passion and commitment to gather to grow deeper in communion with God in the midst of community with others and to celebrate what God is doing in our lives and in the church.

Invest into a life-giving community environment that will help you grow in your faith and relationship with God and others by being disciples who make disciples. We provide many ministries to help families connect into the life of the church and grow in their relationship with Jesus and each other.
